Morning Skincare Routine For Oily Skin
1. Cleansing
The first thing that you should be doing as a
skincare routine for oily skin in the morning is to cleanse your face. You can
try different cleansing products that are manufactured for oily skin type and
find the one that works best for you.
I
have tried many cleansers, but since I am someone who likes to stay on a budget
and wants every reader of my blog to get a product that they can afford too, I
will recommend you guys to try cleansers from Clean and Clear brand. They work
really great and have been my favorite from many years till now.
Always begin your morning skincare routine for oily
skin with a cleanser. Make sure the cleanser is reacting good o your skin and
is actually helping your skin stay less oily for the hours mentioned on the
product.
2. Face Wash
I like to use face wash right after using a cleanser
to deep cleanse my skin. I try to make sure that the face wash I am using is
really gentle on my skin. For face wash, I will again recommend using Clean and
Clear face washes as they are very gentle on the skin and also do not cause any
harm or allergic reactions to sensitive skins.
3. Toner
A toner is really wonderful for an oily skin type. A
toner can help minimize the look of pores on your face as those with oily skin
tend to have large pores on their skin. Toner also helps to cleanse your face
more and helps to keep it hydrated as well.
My
best advice for you will be to go natural with your toner and avoid using any
store bought toner on your skin especially when you have an oily skin type. The
major reason for saying this is because most of the store bought toners have
alcohol in them, and alcohol is not really a good friend for someone who has an
oily skin.
The most favorite toner for any person with an oily
skin would be Rose Water. I use rose
water on my face right after cleansing it and washing it with a mild face wash.
4. Moisturizer
After using a toner, the next step that a person
should follow for their morning skincare routine for oily skin type is to use a
moisturizer. Most of the people might say why? I know your concern very well.
In
the very beginning when I was just exploring the issues of my oily skin, I also
used to avoid moisturizers thinking that my skin already produces so much oil,
using a moisturizer will make it worst and that it produces oil, so it is not
dry and hence it does not need a moisturizer.
People with oily skin type need moisturizer just
like those with dry skin type. So never avoid or stop using a moisturizer
thinking your skin is oily and it does not need more moisturization or
hydration.
Explore different moisturizers that are created for
oily skin types and then select one best fit that will work best for your skin
and is the one that you can use for years.
5. Eye Cream
When it comes to the morning skincare routine for
oily skin or morning skincare routine for all skin types, an eye cream is the
essential step that everyone will mention and even every dermatologist will
advise you to follow as well.
Even
if you have an oily skin type, your under eye area is usually that area of your
face that has no skin glands that produce oils and this is also the area on
your face where you do not really need to find out a product that is specially
made for under eye area of someone with oily skin type.
So you can go for any best under eye cream that
works wonder to keep your under eye area hydrated and free from dark spots or
puffy eyes. But make sure to not skip this step from your morning skincare
regimen for oily skin type.
6. Sunscreen
Sunscreen is that one product which will always
remain the hype in the skin care routine for all skin types. It does not only
protect your skin from damaging UV Rays coming from sun and sunlight, but also
slows down the aging of your skin and helps your skin to stay younger for
longer time period.
There
are several sunscreens available in the market that are designed specifically
for oily skin type. All you need to do is find the one product that suits your
face and it does not have heavy oil based ingredients and it says made for oily
skin type and has an SPF of 45 and above.
This last step will ensure that your skin stays
protected from UV Rays, you skin stays youthful and does not produce more oils
being it a products that is designed for you and being a top layer on all the
previously mentioned products in the skincare routine steps that are for ily
skin type and will aid in keeping your skin less greasy and more healthy and
fresh throughout the day.
This is the most efficient and the best morning skincare routine for oily skin type. You can adopt this skincare routine very easily and even if you are on a budget.
Trust me, having a morning and a night time skincare
routine is a must for all skin types. And you can follow all the steps by
staying on a budget too. You do not really need to spend thousands on branded
skincare products. You can find many drugstore products that work as good as
the high end brands. All you need is to try few and select the best ones that
suit you and then use them for years, till you feel like you need to try more
products.
